Zhongtao Wu

Attended SHS both junior school and high school and graduated in 2001. In July, 2000, Wu won the gold medal for the 41st Korean International Mathematics Olympic (IMO). From 2001 to 2005, Wu received Bachelor’s degree in MIT. From 2005 to 2010, Wu received the doctorate degree in Princeton, studying low dimension and topology. Presently, Wu gets the post doctorate in Caltech.

Yuncheng Lin

Graduated in 2004, and in July the same year, Lin has won the gold medal of the 45thIMO which was held in Greece. In September, Lin was sent on recommendation to College of Mathematics, Peking University. In 2005, he transferred to MIT for Bachelor degree and studied in Stanford in 2008 for algebra and geometry.

Fan Zheng

Graduated in 2010 and was the gold medal winner of the 50th IMO, which was held in Vietnam. Zheng was sent on recommendation to College of Mathematics, Peking University in September, and was transferred to MIT in 2011.

Xiaosheng Mou

Graduated in 2009. In July, 2008, Mou has won the gold medal of the 49th IMO which was held in Spain. Mou entered Yale University in September 2009 and in the same year, Mou won an outstanding award (top 5 in the U.S.) of Undergraduate Mathematics Competition in Putnam.

Zipei Nie

Graduated in 2011 and was the gold medal winner of the 51st IMO, which was held in Kazakhstan. Nie entered MIT in September, 2011.

Tianyou Zhou

Student of 2012, and entered IMO national team in Senior 2. In July, 2011, he has won the gold medal of the 52nd IMO, which was held in Holland.

SHE Yiyang

The winner for Gold medal of 2012 Chinese Mathematical Olympiad (CMO), and the 53th batch of Chinese candidate for International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)

SHE Yiyang was in class 8, grade 12, 2012. He was hard-working, and excellent at math and computer. He was awarded the gold medal for CMO, 2012, and was selected as the Chinese national trainee for the IMO. In addition, he won a silver medal in the 5thAsia and the Pacific informatics Olympic (China).

LIU Yu Tao

Gold Medal Winner of China CMO 2012. Member of 53th IMO China National Team.

LIU Yu Tao comes from 2013 Class 8. He is hardworking and diligent. LIU has achieved outstanding performance in the subject of Math. He has wined the first price in the 2011 National High School Math Competition. He has also obtained the gold medal for 27th CMO and entered 53th IMO China National Team. He will participate in the IMO this July on behalf of China National Team.

Chaohao Wang

Entered SHS in 2002. During school study, he has won the 2nd National Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition (Award of Deng Xiaoping), and the 2nd Shanghai Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition (Mayor’s Award). He was elected a star of the 1st Shanghai Science and Technology, and of the 4th Tomorrow’s Little Scientists. Because of his breakthrough performance, a little planet was named after him by the MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory. In 2005, he studied in Berkeley, California University.

Bowen Yu

Entered SHS in 2005. During school study, he has won the first prize of the 1st “Future Trophy” National Middle School Students Innovation Competition, as well as the first prize of invention and the international specific award of the 32ndShanghai Intel Originality Competition. In the 7th National “Tomorrow’s Little Scientists”, Yu has won the first prize and was honored as a “Tomorrow’s Little Scientist.” After graduating in 2008, Yu furthered his study in College of Yuanpei, Peking University.

Rou Wan

Winner of the 2nd National Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition (Deng Xiaoping Prize). During school study, Wan has also won the Mayor Prize of Shanghai Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition, award of head of Guangqi District, first prize of Star of China’s Science and Technology, first prize of scientific papers of Shanghai Intel Innovation Competition and award of the 5th Soong Ching ling National Children’s Invention. What’s more, Wan received two national patents. In 2008, Wan pursued advanced study of Clinical Medicine in Fudan University

Tianlin Shi

Entered Sci-Tech class of SHS in 2008. Shi has won the first prize of Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Project of the 26th National Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition, Second Prize of Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Project of the 25th National Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition, and “Intel Talent Award” of the 25th and the 26th National Youth Scientific and Technological Innovation Competition. After graduated in 2011, Shi furthered his study in Basic Mathematical Science Class of Tsinghua University.

LU Jia Hui

First Prince Winner of 27 Shanghai Intel Innovation Competition. His work has been recommended to the national competition.

LU Jia Hui has developed strong interest in math, physics, chemistry, biology, and information technology. Under the motivation, he has obtained first price of 17 Information Technology (Shanghai), the third price of 25 Chemistry Competition (Shanghai) , as well as the second price (group) of Shanghai high school paper house construction design competition .

Furthermore, LU Jia Hui serves as the League branch 1309 secretary for class 1309. He has served for the class.
