Established in 2005, the Shanghai High School Mental Health Education Center is dedicated to providing psychological support to all teachers and students of our school. Located on the second floor of the General Affairs Building, the center currently comprises a psychological consultation room (20 square meters), a group psychological activity room (60 square meters), a staff office (20 square meters), a relaxation room (20 square meters), and a psychological reading room combined with a sandbox therapy room (20 square meters). Psychological course classrooms are distributed across several teaching buildings. Grade 11 students have a weekly psychology class. The course is designed towards the direction of integrating basic courses with positive psychology program for higher-order thinking orientations.

The center's facilities include smart tachistoscopes, smart bar frame instruments, smart logical thinking instruments, sand trays, smart mind-body feedback exercise conditioning systems, and mind-body feedback relaxation training systems, providing services and assisted options for teachers and students.
