Senior-Level Teacher Xu Yuecan

Xu Yuecan is the Principal of East Shanghai High School and a participant in the third and fourth “Shanghai Distinguished Principals and Teachers Training Program”. He received the Individual Honor from Shanghai public sectors for two consecutive years, both in 2021 and 2022. He has independently published over thirty papers in journals such as Modern Basic Education Research. He has also participated in the compilation and editing of books including the Guidance and Training of Mathematics for Grade 12, which total nearly three million words.

Senior-Level Teacher Liu Maoxiang

Liu Maoxiang is the Vice Secretary of the Party Committee at Shanghai High School and holds a Ph.D. in Education. He is the Director of the Shanghai Institute for Comparative Studies in International Curriculum for Basic Education Office. His primary focus is on educational practice research and career education research. He has completed multiple research projects on provincial and national department levels, published two academic books and over 100 papers. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Educational Researcher in the Yangtze River Delta region of China.

Senior-Level Teacher Liu Lian

Liu Lian is the Middle and Primary School Principal of Shanghai High School International Division and a computer science teacher. He has received multiple awards, including the Individual Honor from Shanghai's public sectors, the Special Prize for Shanghai Basic Education Teaching Achievements, and the Gardeners Award in the Xuhui District.

He has published over 10 research papers, served as the editor or co-editor for six books, and participated in five research projects at both provincial and ministerial levels.

Senior-Level Teacher Ma Feng

Ma Feng is the High School Principal of Shanghai High School International Division and an IB Math Examiner. He has been nominated twice by MIT freshmen as 'the teacher who had the greatest impact on their lives.'

He is dedicated to the localization and integration of international mathematics curricula. He has published over 30 articles on educational and teaching practices in various newspapers and journals. He has also published one monograph, edited two books, and translated one book on mathematics competitions.

Senior-Level Teacher Yang Rong

Yang Rong is the Principal of Shanghui Experimental School in Xuhui District and the Director of the Moral Education Office at Shanghai High School. She has received numerous honors, including the title of 'National Outstanding Teacher' and the ' Gardeners Award in Xuhui District'.

She has continuously been dedicating herself to nurturing talents for the party and the nation. She has demonstrated innovation and dedication at the educational forefront, showing the spirit of a teacher of the new era through her actions.

Senior-Level Teacher Shu Xing

Shu Xing is the Director of the Teaching Affairs Office at Shanghai High School. She has been recognized as a leading teacher (2008-2010 and 2011-2013) and as a subject leader (2023-2025) in the Xuhui District Education System. She has received numerous honors, including the Shanghai Gardeners Award, title of Shanghai Outstanding Youth Reserved Cadres, the Xuhui District Gardeners Award, the Xuhui District Pioneer Award, and the Xuhui District Junma Award. She has published nearly 20 papers at district level and participated in the editing of three books.

Senior-Level Teacher Wang Ying

Wang Ying is the Director of the School Office and the Party Committee Office at Shanghai High School. She has received the Xuhui District Junma Award and the Talents Cultivation Award. Currently, she is a subject leader and a member of the district subject core members group. She is also appointed as a reviewer for municipal primary and middle school textbooks, an expert in 'Geography Subject Preposition' at the Municipal Examination Institute, and an interviewer for the 'Middle School Geography Subject' section of the Municipal Teacher Qualification Examination.

Wang Ying has published nearly twenty papers in national Chinese core journals and provincial-level publications such as Shanghai Curriculum and Teaching Research. She has also participated in the editing of four books.

Senior-Level Teacher Wang Guangting

Wang Guangting is the Vice Director of the Student Affairs Office at Shanghai High School. He primarily focuses on the early identification and cultivation of math talents and students with strong potential in mathematics. His teaching achievements are outstanding. By 2023, eight of his students had won gold medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Four students consecutively won IMO gold medals in 2022 and 2023 (two students for each year), three of them achieving perfect scores.

Wang Guangting has published over ten papers in provincial-level journals, including CSSCI-indexed journals.

Senior-Level Teacher Wang Yongqing

Wang Yongqing is the Head of the Mathematics Group at Shanghai High School. Over many years of teaching, he has developed a distinctive teaching style for gifted students, emphasizing appropriate student advancement. He has published multiple works, including Understanding Competence: Cases in Teaching and Practice for Gifted Students in High School Mathematics, Permutations, Combinations, Probability Statistics, and Synchronous Tutoring for Independent Recruitment of Prestigious Universities. He has also published numerous papers, such as Teaching Strategies Based on Problem Solving in Plane Analytic Geometry' in academic journals.
