College Application Results for the Class of 2015 (As of June 4th, 2016)

June 7th, 2015 is the commencement of the Class of 2015. After June 7th, the graduates will pack their bags and start their journey.

The college acceptance results for the Class of 2015 are thrilling. Most students were accepted by their dream colleges or majors, and will start their new journey soon. In addition to those top American universities, our students received offers from highly reputable colleges around the world, including: Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the best hotel management school; Rhode Island School of Design which ranks No. 1 in jewelry design; Central Saint Martins – University of the Arts London, a world leading center for fashion design; United States Military Academy at West Point, known as the “Father of the Military Academy”; and Sheridan College which has the best animation degree program worldwide.

The long-term effort and the good college application plans enabled the great acceptance results of the Class of 2015. As of now, nearly 60% of students chose to study in the US, and among them, over 30% were admitted to the Top 30 US National Best Universities, while 90% of them were accepted by the Top 50 universities in the US. These results set a new record for SHSID’s college acceptance results. (Please refer to US News and World Report for the college rankings of 2015.)

Students will also attend universities and colleges around the world. Offers from renowned universities of other countries and regions were received, such as University of Toronto, University of St. Andrews, Australian National University, Seoul National University, The University of Hong Kong, and Waseda University. Those, who are planning to study in Japan, South Korea and Australia, are still working on the applications. Their continuous efforts will be recognized, and they will get closer to their dreams.

The acceptance results into the US Top 50 universities since 2012 is shown below. Every graduating class has 230-250 students, and approximately 60% students chose to study in the US, while the others attend universities and colleges at home or abroad.
