During the recently concluded 2013 Shanghai “SISU Cup” High School English competition, contestants from SHS passed through over a month of preliminary trials, semi-finals, and final contests. They obtained exceptional success in the eleventh grade English competition, where 11(5) student Xia Zhengyang won first prize.

The “SISU Cup” High School English Competition is one of the most prestigious English language competitions for high school students in Shanghai. This year, 58 SHS students signed up for the preliminary trials, 28 of whom went on to win prizes, a remarkable achievement.
