On September 7, the director and staff of CCTV’s program “Voice” came to Shanghai High School, launching a grand youth influence show, themed “World of the Young - in the Future, Who Will I Be?” It is the first time that the program sets its stage on Shanghai High School’s campus, bringing students and parents together for a joint dialogue.

The event was presided over by hosts Sa Beining and Sun Xiaomei, lecturing guests included singer Terry Lin and director Wang Chaoge. Before the activity began, the organizer conducted a survey of SHS and found that SHS students’ greatest concern was not, as is often assumed, the problem of “grades and the Gaokao, youth and rebellion”, but that students were more focused on questions like “In the future, what kind of person will I become? What kind of person will I be able to become?” Aside from studying and tests, students are also engaged in “observing oneself and finding a goal”. During the activity, the two lecturers, as well as students and parents, shared their life experiences and encouraged young people to think independently and develop their talents.
