On the morning of November 8, 2012, the 18th National Congress of CPC opening ceremony was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Shanghai High School organized its faculty and staff to watch the opening ceremony and Mr. Hu Jintao’s report on the Congress.

It was Midterm Exam on that day. More than 100 teachers watched the ceremony in the Eastern Hall, among them were Principal Tang, General Secretary Mr. Wanghui, Vice-Principal Mr. Feng Zhigang and Vice Secretary Mr. Xue Jianping. After the report by Mr. Hu Jintao, many teachers and staff members expressed their determination to better understand the spirit of the report and put forth more efforts in their daily work.
