On May 20^th, the 2012 “Shangzhong Cup” Table Tennis Tournament, second stop of the Ten Items Series, concluded with a great success. After four days of fierce competition among nearly 500 players from 110 delegations, the ranking of both boys’ and girls’ teams were finally determined.

The Awarding Ceremony was honored by the presence of the Principal of SHS, Mr. Tang Shengchang, and the CPC Secretary of SHS, Mr. Wang Hui. On behalf of the organizing committee, Mr. Chen Yiping, Vice Chairperson of Chinese Table Tennis Association, Chairperson of Shanghai Table Tennis Association, and Vice Director of the Shanghai Sports Bureau, expressed his sincerest gratitude and issued a Special Contribution Medal to the great efforts SHS made throughout this event. The winners then had the honor of receiving their trophies from Principal Tang and Mr. Wang Hui. The closing ceremony came to an end with the applause of the audience.

After fierce competition, the SHS team had many champions as expected.
