On February 28th, the Central Committee convened with the National Civilization and Learn from Lei Feng Voluntary Service Conference. At the conference, a list of nationwide civilized cities (districts), villages, towns and units was announced. Shanghai High School, together with other 64 units, entered this list. It is the first time that Shanghai High School was given this honor.
