On the morning of Apr.20th, a group of municipal leaders came to SHS to inspect the development of an experimental education base for outstanding and innovative talents. The leaders are: Yin Yicun, Vice Secretary of the Shanghai Committee of CPC, Wen Tiehui, Vice Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Xue Mingyang, CPC Secretary of the Education and Health Department of Shanghai and Director of SEC, Wang Ju, Vice Governor of Xuhui District.
Accompanied by Principal Tang and Mr. Wang Hui, SHS Vice Principal, the leaders first visited the intelligent exhibiting system which was established upon the logistic network, the modern laboratories in Yifu Building and the arts and sports facilities. After that, they had a meeting in the conference room.
To conclude their visit, Yin Yicui, Vice Secretary of the Shanghai Committee of CPC, assigned three missions to SHS regarding its role in the development of fundamental education in Shanghai: 1. Continue to take the lead in the early education of outstanding and innovative talents; 2. Set a good example in strengthening quality-oriented education; 3. Take advantage of international education to advance the comparative study of curricula and make creative adaptations to promote the development of education in Shanghai.
