Starting on September 3, 2003, Jiu San Society and Shanghai High School signed an agreement to jointly establish the “Popular Science Education Base”. For a decade, the Jiu San Society has invited two experts each semester to SHS, such as Yang Xiongli, Wang Enduo, and other scholars; the professors have brought reports on ten fields, such as medicine, aviation and space flight, and art to the students and teachers of SHS. 40,000 people have already attended the science education seminars.
