On the afternoon of November 18, 2024, the lecture "Fire Safety Training and Emergency Drill" for all staff of Shanghai Middle School was successfully held in the school.The lecture was given by Sun Hainan, deputy director of Meilong Fire Aid Station, and presided over by Zhu Guanhua of the school's General Affairs Office.
November is the National Fire Safety Month every year, and this year's theme is "All Firefighters, Life First".Around this theme, Sun Hainan, deputy director of the station for all staff to bring a detailed, practical fire safety training.He started from the basic fire safety knowledge, introduced in detail the function and use of various types of fire equipment, and provided specific response strategies for fire emergencies.At the end of the lecture, he called on the participants to pay attention to fire safety, enhance fire awareness, and take practical actions to protect life and property safety.


Afterwards, Secretary Zhang Zehong delivered a speech.She highly praised the wonderful explanation and professional demonstration of Station Manager Sun, and pointed out that fire safety is closely related to the job duties of every staff.She reminded all the staff to be alert to fire risks by combining actual cases.And especially mentioned that the use of charging treasure and terminal boards by students in the activities of learning and farming increased the safety risks, which required close attention from teachers and dormitory managers.Meanwhile, as the school gate is a high-traffic area, security personnel need to strictly enforce the safety management requirements.She emphasized that fire training is the top priority of the school safety work, all staff should strengthen the fire awareness, and new recruits need systematic training to build a strong campus safety defense.



After the lecture, all the staff moved to the East Gate parking lot to participate in the practical fire drill.The practical exercise further consolidated the training content and enhanced the ability to deal with fire.

This activity not only enhances the staff's awareness of fire safety, but also provides a solid guarantee for campus safety management and lays a foundation for building a safe campus.
