The 65th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) was held in the United Kingdom in 2024. On July 20th, the results were announced, and our student, Wang Chunji, representing the Chinese team, won a gold medal once again after receiving one in 2023!
Our school has continued to strengthen the cultivation of strong potential in mathematics for students, and has established a training system for such talents. Since 2000, students from our school have won a total of 17 gold medals in the International Mathematical Olympiad.
Congratulations to Wang Chunji!

During the competition, Shanghai High School sent an observer team to the University of Bath, in preparation for hosting the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) in 2026. Led by Principal Feng Zhigang, the team aimed to learn from advanced practices and lay a solid foundation for hosting the event in 2026.
